DESCRIPTION:The Salvo’s will have their mobile office within the Tenterfield Shire to assist with all Bushfire Affected Community Members \nTuesday 18th August – Northern end of Council Chambers (Rouse St Tenterfield) \nWednesday 19th August – Woodwood Park\, Drake \nThursday 20th August – Shed of Hope\, Tabulam \nWhat we will be offering\, \n\nBushfire Assistance – including access to second round of grants\nFinancial Counselling – assist those community members who may be experiencing financial stress\n\nTo ensure we can provide the greatest assistance you may be required to provide documentation such as (minimum requirements)\, \n\nStatement of Loss – if you have lost your primary residence in the recent fires (Insurance notice\, Council Letter etc)\nProof of Ownership – rate notice\, electricity bill etc\nDrivers Licence or other form of photo identification\n\nIf you do not have the required documentation\, we may still be able to assist.\n*Eligibility criteria must be met \nFor assistance at any time please contact Salvos Disaster Assistance line on either\,\n1300 662 217 or sal.disasters@salvationarmy.org.au

Whether because of drought\, the Black Summer fires or COVID-19\, supporting children and young people has been particularly challenging in recent times. This session will provide information\, advice and tips on ways to support children and young people. Ask questions\, understand common reactions and signs of stress\, and get practical tips of parenting through uncertainty. \nExpert Natalie Fraser\, psychologist and mother of two\, has worked with children\, young people and families for 25 years.
