SUMMARY:The Big Chilly Sing - Community Choral Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Have you always wanted to sing with others? Do you want to enjoy a day of casual music-making? \nCome and join the Big Chilly Sing – a community choral day! \nFor one day only\, local choirs and community members will join to sing some great music together. You don’t need to have any experience\, just a love of music! \nThis event is for everyone – if you already sing in a group or you have never sung with other people before. Come along and join in our massed choir of people from Tenterfield\, Brisbane\, Gold Coast\, Toowoomba and all enjoy singing for a day. \nRegistration fee of $30 includes all music\, morning tea and lunch for the day – all you need to bring is yourself\, a jacket and your singing voice.

DESCRIPTION:Director of the Cuskelly College of Music\, Dr James Cuskelly OAM invites you to be part of the 2022 Winter School Music Program. Since being involved with the Australian Kodály Training Programs since their inception and President of the International Kodály Society\, James is well known as a global leader in terms of the Kodály philosophy of music education. \nThe 2022 Winter School Brochure can be downloaded here. \nThe Winter Music Program is a pivotal component of our commitment to Music Education. The key characteristic of this program is the development of requisite skills and knowledge for effective teaching and learning in Music.  Tenterfield High School (89 High Street\, Tenterfield\, NSW 2372) will be the home base for the program and we will also be using other performance venues around the town. \nFeaturing highly experienced Australian music educators\, courses are offered for teachers in Early Childhood\, Primary and Secondary classroom music specialists.
