SUMMARY:Dry Land Dog Sledding - Northern Exposure Gig Racing Club
DESCRIPTION:If you’d like to experience the excitement of dry land sled dog racing\, then this is the event for you! Come and see what this is all about and meet our beautiful dogs – big and small. \nWe are holding the Northern Exposure Gig Racing Club (NEGRC)/ASSA National Challenge soon. Please see more info below\, \n \nAbout the event: \nRace Marshall : Steve Shale\, Qld \nRace Vet : Michelle Barton\, Qld \nRace First Aid : Michelle Barrett\, Qld \nVenue : Tenterfield Endurance Riders Club campsite\, Girard State Forest\, Northern NSW \nLocated 44 km east of Tenterfield (heading towards Casino) on the Bruxner Highway; or 8 km west of Drake (heading from Casino). \n  \nThe entrance to the forest can be a bit tricky to find\, but we will have plenty of Sled Dog Racing Signs on either side off to the TERC Complex. \nWe are expecting around 100 attendees consisting of competitors and spectators from all over Australia. \n  \nVenue Facilities: \nThe TERC complex is a large fantastic shady campsite located on the fringe of the forest. \nCowgirl Express will be providing coffee\, milk shakes and other drinks as well as a small selection of food. If you’d like a coffee or a bite to eat you will have to bring cash to pay for these. \nPlease note there is no mobile phone reception within the camp. Mobile reception can only be obtained at the fire tower (approx. 2km to the nearby hill).
