Community Sessions - Former Arsenic Processing Site, Jennings

The NSW Department of Industry – Crown Lands and Water has entered into a Voluntary Management Proposal for Stage 1 of the remediation of the Former Arsenic Processing Site at Jennings, NSW. As part of planning for the remediation, the Department will be holding community liaison sessions as follows:



  Jennings Hotel, 26 Duke Street, JENNINGS

  Monday, 27 August 1pm-3pm

  Monday 27 August 5:30pm-7:30pm

As part of these remediation works, there are numerous Council road reserves within the overall Project Site Boundary which are required to be closed. In particular a portion of Gladstone Street, the track in use between King Street and Gladstone Street, a portion of Robinson Street and a portion of the unnamed road reserve between King Street and Manor Street.

Members of the community are welcome to attend to discuss aspects of the remediation project with representatives from the Department and Tenterfield Shire Council.
