Bushfire Clean-up and Waste Management

Tenterfield War Memorial Pool Temporarily Closed - Update

Update 5.30 pm - Tuesday, 3 December 2019

It is anticipated that the Tenterfield War Memorial Baths (Pool) will be closed for Wednesday and Thursday due to ongoing water treatment to rebalance the water quality.

All swimming activities have been cancelled until further notice.

Introduction of Level 3 Water Restrictions Urbenville

As Tooloom Creek is now at 50% capacity, Council has enacted the Drought Management Plan and issued the town of Urbenville with Level 3 Water Restrictions to come into force on Monday, 9 December 2019.

Boil Water Alert Continued Until Further Notice

The BOIL WATER ALERT issued early October 2019 will remain in place until further notice.

The current poor raw water quality continues due to the recent heavy rainfall event and significant runoff of ash and dust into the Tenterfield Dam. 

Tenterfield War Memorial Baths Temporary Closure

The Tenterfield War Memorial Baths (Pool) is currently closed due to the recent storms causing an imbalance in the chemical levels in the water.  Further advice will be made available when the pool has reopened.
