NOTICE: ROAD CLOSURE – BLACK SWAMP ROAD
Between Wellington Lookout Road and the Cataract River
In accordance with Section 115 of the Roads Act 1993, notice is hereby given that Tenterfield Shire Council, as the Roads Authority, will be commencing works, weather permitting. These works will be carried out by Council and its authorised contractors.
Location:
Black Swamp Road – between Wellington Lookout Road and the Cataract River.
Work Schedule:
Works will commence on Wednesday 8th of April and continue Thursday 9th of April and Friday 10th of April 2026.
Closure will be during school holidays. Road will be closed for work hours only and available for use after hours.
Advance Notification:
VMS (Variable Message Sign) boards will be in place from Monday 30th March 2026 at the intersection of Black Swamp Road and Mt Lindesay Road; and Black Swamp Road and Bruxner Highway, as a notification to motorists of impending closure.

NOTICE: WORKS TO COMMENCE ON HYNES BRIDGE ROAD
In accordance with Section 115 of the Roads Act 1993, notice is hereby given that Tenterfield Shire Council, as the Roads Authority, will be commencing bridge works, weather permitting. These works will be carried out by Council and its authorised contractors.
Location:
Hynes Bridge Road - located approximately 214 meters north of Bruxner Way intersection.
Work Schedule:
Works will be commencing on the 7th of April 2026.
Temporary road signage will be in place to manage traffic movements.
