Since being appointed by the NSW Government for the important task of coordinating the NSW bushfire clean-up program, the Laing O’Rourke team has been busy getting on with the job as quickly and safely as possible. Progress is now well underway right across the State.
The clean-up service is free.
The Australian Government and NSW Government are jointly funding the clean-up of destroyed or damaged buildings on eligible residential, small business and primary production properties impacted by NSW bushfires from 1 July 2019. This program is voluntary and free of charge for insured and uninsured property owners.
Please make sure you register as soon as possible.
To ensure that Laing O’Rourke can complete the clean-up as quickly as possible, they urge impacted community members to register for this service as soon as possible.
Laing O’Rourke want local contractors to help deliver this work!
They will be prioritising local contractors to help deliver this important work, helping to support economies in regional NSW.
To do that, they need a wide range of local contractors to help with tasks as varied as haulage, licenced asbestos assessors and removalists, contamination removalists, plant hire, labour hire, traffic control, temporary fencing and much more.
