Council has implemented strict protocols to ensure we comply with directions issued by government in relation to managing the COVID 19 risk. These protocols apply to our staff, our customers and visitors to our premises, and councillors alike. Please be understanding that we will do our best to maintain services and help in what are unique and challenging circumstances.
Tenterfield Shire Council is continuing to review health advice regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and has put in place changes to meet guidelines for public safety. These guidelines have been implemented to ensure Council staff are available to meet the needs of the community throughout the crisis, with community and employee safety front of mind.
From Monday, 14 December 2020, Opening Times will be 10.00 am to 4.30 pm – Monday to Friday and 9.00am to 11.45am on Saturday. It is essential that you contact Library staff on 6736 6060 or email tenpublib@tenterfield.nsw.gov.au to book computer time. High risk residents wishing to use the Library can do so between 9.00 am – 10.00 am, Monday to Friday by appointment only.
Please note that Public Health (COVID-19 Restrictions on Gathering and Movement) Order 2020 will still apply.

Small community groups are encouraged to enquire about what the Library can offer them in the way of resources and informal meeting spaces.
