Council has implemented strict protocols to ensure we comply with directions issued by government in relation to managing the COVID 19 risk. These protocols apply to our staff, our customers and visitors to our premises, and councillors alike. Some non-essential services have ceased altogether, others are still in operation but due to social distancing have added levels of complexity. Please be understanding that we will do our best to maintain services and help in what are unique and challenging circumstances.
Council is currently seeking expressions of interest from property owners within the RU5 Zone of Tenterfield Township that have large dead trees that pose a fire risk to the Tenterfield community. Council has resolved to allocate funding under the National Bushfire Recovery Grant to address the potential fire risk to the Tenterfield Township posed by dead trees within the RU5 Zone.
