Tenterfield Shire Council’s election will be administered by the NSW Electoral Commission and voting will be held on Saturday 4 September.
Local Government elections in New South Wales are usually held every four years. However, the elections planned for 2020 were postponed for 12 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Who is the Returning Officer?
The Returning Officer will be appointed to conduct the Tenterfield Shire Council local government election as the election draws closer. Contact details will be provided on Council’s website once available.
