T & C's - Council Marquee

Terms & Conditions
The Council marquee/s are available for hire by individuals and groups within the
Tenterfield Shire.

A refundable deposit of $330.00 applies to each marquee when hired. Deposit
will be refunded by cheque only.

Applicants are responsible for the collection and return of the marquee within the
specified times on the application.

Applicants are responsible for any damage and repairs that are in the opinion of
the Tenterfield Shire Council not to be ‘Fair Wear and Tear’. Applicants will be
invoiced for the materials and labour for the repairs.

The marquee/s are ‘Community’ assets and the applicants proper use and care of
the Marquee/s will ensure the continued use and availability for all individuals
and groups.

Caution: Marquees should not be erected during periods of known inclement
weather and high wind warnings.

NOTE: Marquee/s are to be returned in a clean and dry condition.

Prohibited Uses

• BBQ’s and cooking grills are not permitted to be used inside the marquee/s
• Livestock are not permitted to be contained within the marquee/s
• 240 volt coloured lights are not permitted/or attached to the marquee/s
