Smart Meter Replacement
Tenterfield Shire Council under grant funding from the Regional Leakage Reduction Program have been engaged contactors to replace all 20mm water meters in Rouse St between Miles St and Molesworth St with new Smart Meters.
These Smart Meters allow real time data to be captured alerting for any detected leaks or high consumption, this will essentially save consumers money from early leak detection and save water which has become such a valuable resource.
This project will commence on Tuesday the 7th of May concluding on Friday the 10th of May. There may be minor disruptions to water availability in the effected area during this time.
