Update 4:38pm - Please be advised, services have resumed to the Mount. Mackenzie communications tower.
Tenterfield Shire Council advise there is a planned power outage in the area of the Mount. Mackenzie Communications Tower, staff on site to ensure the back-up generator covering the power outage have reported that it is currently having mechanical issues and are working on resolving this.
Please note the outage on the tower may affect local Radio stations and Digital Television broadcasting.
Services shall resume when repairs are completed, Council thanks residents for their understanding and apologises for any inconvenience this may have caused.
