Historical Rates & Assesment Records

To ensure the safe keeping of Tenterfield Shire Council’s rates books, a decision was made to transfer the records to the Regional Access Centre in Armidale where they are now held in a climate controlled environment.

Interested parties can still access these records by visiting the University of New England & Regional Archives (UNERA) at the Heritage Centre, at the corner of Dangar & Kentucky Streets in Armidale.  The entrance to the building faces the Old Teacher College building with parking accessed from Mossman Street.

The Heritage Centre is open from Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm excluding public holidays and no appointment is required.
