Council has implemented strict protocols to ensure we comply with directions issued by government in relation to managing the COVID 19 risk. These protocols apply to our staff, our customers and visitors to our premises, and councillors alike. Please be understanding that we will do our best to maintain services and help in what are unique and challenging circumstances.

Council Meetings are generally held on the 4th Wednesday of the month, commencing at 9.30 am.  The meetings are open to the general public.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, changes to the Local Government Act allow for Meetings of Council to be held via audio visual connection while ever restrictions remain in place.

Council does not have the capacity to live stream the audio visual meetings, however the meetings are recorded and placed on the website on the following day.

Scheduled meeting dates for 2021:

  • There will be no Council Meeting in December due to the Local Government elections

Scheduled meeting dates for 2022:

  • Extraordinary Meeting will be held Wednesday 12 January 2022 to swear in our new Councillors.

Ordinary Meetings will be held at the Council Chambers with COVID-19 restrictions applicable.
