Ordinary Council Meetings
Ordinary Council Meetings will be held each month of the calendar year with the exception of January.
Council Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of the meeting month with the exception of December which will be held on the third Wednesday of the month.
Meetings commence at 9.30 am in the Council Chambers, 247 Rouse Street Tenterfield unless previously scheduled elsewhere. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
Extra- Ordinary Council Meetings
Meetings held at the discretion of the Mayor. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
Ordinary Council Meetings are advertised in the “Your Local News” Fortnightly Newsletter and on Council’s website.
Public Forums – Refer Item 4 of Council’s Code of Meeting Practice
The Council may hold a public forum prior to each ordinary meeting of the Council for the purpose of hearing oral submissions from members of the public on items of business to be considered at the meeting. Public forums may also be held prior to extraordinary Council meetings and meetings of Committees of the Council.
