Webcast of Council Meetings

Council records its meetings, allowing you to view proceedings in real time

As per Code of Meeting Practice, all Councils in NSW are required to webcast meetings of the Council and Committees whose membership comprises only of Councillors.

Where live streaming is not possible the meeting will be recorded and placed on Council’s YouTube Channel as soon as possible following the meeting.

Live streaming or recording Council meetings increases the transparency of Council decision making and allows access to all members of the community who may not be physically able to attend the meetings.

Council conducts 2 meetings per year in the Shire villages. Unfortunately, due to the technology required Council is unable to live stream these meetings, however the meetings will be recorded and the recording posted on the website by 10.00 am on the following day.

The audio visual file and audio recordings will be available for access for twelve (12) months following the Council Meeting.
