Council records its meetings, allowing you to view proceedings in real time
From 14 December 2019 all Councils in NSW will be required to webcast meetings of the Council and Committees whose membership comprises only of Councillors.
Tenterfield has recommenced live streaming Council meetings in order to comply with this change to Council’s updated Code of Meeting Practice which was adopted by Council at the Ordinary Meeting of 26 June 2019.
Live streaming or recording Council meetings increases the transparency of Council decision making and allows access to all members of the community who may not be physically able to attend the meetings.
Council conducts 2 meetings per year in the Shire villages. Unfortunately, due to the technology required Council is unable to live stream these meetings, however the meetings will be recorded and the recording posted on the website by 10.00 am on the following day.
The audio visual file and audio recordings will be available for access for six (6) months following the Council Meeting.
