Council has implemented strict protocols to ensure we comply with directions issued by government in relation to managing the COVID 19 risk. These protocols apply to our staff, our customers and visitors to our premises, and councillors alike. Some non-essential services have ceased altogether, others are still in operation but due to social distancing have added levels of complexity. The Tenterfield Creek Flood Study Advisory Committee was formed in September 2012 to consider the flood study of Tenterfield Creek undertaken by Consulting Company DHI following the January 2011 flood event.
The Tenterfield Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan was adopted at the Ordinary Council Meeting held on Wednesday, 17 December 2014, Res No. 447/14.
The adoption of the Tenterfield Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan by Council concludes the work of the Tenterfield Creek Flood Study Advisory Committee. Council wishes to thank the Committee members for their dedication and further thanks community members who assisted by providing input into the process.
