Works commencing at the Youth Precinct as part of Council’s ongoing improvements to community spaces
The construction of new public toilets and a covered BBQ area, at the Youth Precinct will begin the week commencing, Monday 16 February 2026, significantly improving amenities for youth and other people enjoying the excellent facilities in the park. The location of the toilets has been carefully considered to ensure they are:- Close to the skate park, walking tracks and BBQ area
- Able to connect to existing underground services
- Within planning constraints, including an Aboriginal land claim in the area
