NOTICE: BOONOO BOONOO LANDFILL UPDATE – WORKS NEARING COMPLETION ON ‘CELL 5’
Council would like to thank the community for your patience while construction of the new landfill cell at Boonoo Boonoo has been underway.
We recognise this project has taken some time, and we sincerely appreciate the efforts of residents who have adjusted their waste practices to help Council meet EPA requirements during this period. Your cooperation has made a real difference.
Works are now nearing completion, and we expect to provide a further update on the project soon, including next steps for normal waste operations.

Please continue to withhold placing green waste in general waste bins until further notice.
