NOTICE: CCTV MASTERPLAN – COMMUNITY SUPPORT REQUEST
Council is currently exploring opportunities to secure external grant funding to deliver a CCTV Masterplan for the Tenterfield CBD, aimed at strengthening enhance safety for local events, businesses, and everyday community life.
We are seeking the support of residents, local businesses and community organisations to help demonstrate strong community backing for this initiative.
The proposed CCTV network has the potential to:
- Support a safer and more welcoming CBD environment
- Reduce vandalism, theft and anti-social behaviour
- Improve confidence for businesses, residents and visitors
- Support economic activity, visitation and event attraction
- Help protect community assets and reduce repair costs
