NOTICE: ROAD CLOSURE – GUNYAH ROAD
In accordance with Section 115 of the Roads Act 1993, notice is hereby given that Tenterfield Shire Council, as the Roads Authority, will be undertaking causeway rectification works on Gunyah Road.
The closure will be in place approximately 100 metres east of the Woodside Road intersection. Gunyah Road will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the works.
Closure Details
- Road closure begins on: Tuesday, 28 April 2026
- Duration: Approximately 14 days
- Planned reopening: Tuesday, 12 May 2026 (weather permitting)
Static signage will be in place at both ends of the closure, with additional signage at the worksite to ensure the safety of road users and to prevent access across the causeway.
