NOTICE: Long Gully Road Slope Protection Works – Drake
Slope protection works are scheduled to start on Long Gully Road, Drake, working on sections between 5.5 km to 7.5 km from the Bruxner Highway intersection, utilising funding from Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangement (DRFA) funds made available by the Federal Government.
Works will include batter slip restoration and pavement repairs on the impacted sections of the road from the 2022 declared rain events.
Works are expected to continue for 2 months (weather permitting), starting Monday 16 March 2026.
Short traffic delays are required under the direction of traffic controllers during the Project’s working hours of 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. There is potential for Saturday works.
