With a new Council being inducted in January 2022, it is time for Council to review the vision for the Tenterfield Shire. We want to hear from you, the community, to help Council review and update our set of plans for the future direction of Council and the community for the next ten (10) years.
NSW Integrated Planning & Reporting legislation requires that local government organisations have a Community Strategic Plan and review it with each new term of Council to ensure its relevance with the current and future community.
We’re ready to listen to the community and invite you to share your vision for our wonderful region. Please have your say and together we can continue working towards a shared long-term vision for Tenterfield Shire Council.
From December 2021 through to early February 2022 we want to hear about your priorities and aspirations for the Tenterfield region.
There are many ways you can have your say. You can provide feedback to Council in the following ways:
- Fill out the survey HERE
- Email or write a letter to Council
- Phone Council and ask for your feedback to be recorded
- Come and talk to us at one of the pop up sessions across the region.
Council values the communities input to the Community Strategic Plan and seeks to make it as easy as possible for residents and ratepayers to provide input to the plan.
Council will be engaging with the community in the new year by visiting and talking to the community in Tenterfield, Mingoola, Jennings, Urbenville, Liston, Legume, Drake and Torrington.
We’re listening and together we can ensure we continue working towards a shared long-term vision for Tenterfield Shire Council.
Submissions on the Community Strategic Plan should be forwarded to The Chief Executive, Tenterfield Shire Council, PO Box 214, Tenterfield NSW 2372.
