STRONGER COUNTRY COMMUNITIES FUNDING – ROUND 5 NOW OPEN !!!
The Tenterfield Shire is set to see more investment in regional community infrastructure and programs. Applications are now open for the latest round of Stronger Country Communities Funding.
Council encourages eligible community groups to seek funding projects that will improve the quality of life for locals.
In previous years, we have seen benefits provided by previous rounds, including the newly renovated Memorial Hall, Exercise area in Hockey Park, Practice Cricket Nets at Shirley Park and new community toilets in the villages.
This year eligible community groups and Council across the state, including Tenterfield Shire can apply with $1,316,579 allocated for Tenterfield Shire. This amount has been designated for applications to the value of $905,148 from Council and $411,431 for Community organisations. Each application must be a minimum of $100,000.”
Applications are now open and close Friday, 23 September 2022.
