NOTICE: Bridge Closure – Rivertree Road (Maryland River)

NOTICE OF BRIDGE CLOSURE - RIVERTREE ROAD (MARYLAND RIVER)

In accordance with Section 115 of the Roads Act 1993, notice is hereby given that Tenterfield Shire Council, as the Roads Authority, will be undertaking bridge repair works on Rivertree Road. The bridge crossing the Maryland River on Rivertree Rd will be closed to all traffic for essential bridge maintenance works.

Closure Details

Starts: 9:00am, Tuesday 19 May 2026
Reopens to light vehicles: Approximately 1:00pm, Tuesday 19 May 2026
Heavy vehicle access resumes: After 12:00pm (midday), Wednesday 20 May 2026

During the closure period, no vehicles will be able to cross the bridge.

Following completion of works on Tuesday afternoon, the bridge will reopen to light vehicles only.

Heavy Vehicles will not be able to cross the structure until after midday Wednesday 20^th May 2026.
